Evening Prayer – 13 April 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

As we came out of our Maundy Thursday service

The local Elk herd was visiting

Watching this Elk look in gave me pause

We are surrounded by the beauty of your creation, Lord

Help us to always see your presence 

Help us to be still and know

Lord, on this holy night I lift this prayer 

For the creation you made and the creation you love

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
