The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

As we celebrated the diversity of our world

As we celebrated the diversity of our nation

As we honored ALL of God’s children

Lives have been destroyed 

Lives have forever been altered

Violence only begets violence

An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth

Only leaves the world toothless and blind

Lord, have mercy

Christ, have medcy

Lord, have mercy

Hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth
