Evening Prayer – 25 March 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

As I ponder the readings for tomorrow

Lord, I think about the darkness around us

I contemplate the darkness we are lured into

Yes, Lord, a part of me quakes with fear

Thankfully, a greater part of me gives thanks

Even in the midst of darkness, your light shines 

Lord, help me to share your light

Lord, help me to share your love

Lord, help me to share your peace

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
