Evening Prayer – 18 March 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Another day filled with activity

Hospital calls, reviewing lines, and the Melodrama 

Tomorrow’s Scripture on my heart

Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well

So often we find ourselves spiritually parched, thirsting

Like the woman at the well, we seek after that livingwater 

Lord, may you quench spirits that are parched

Give to us your healing balm, your living water

And may we not be greedy with your gifts

May we be refreshed

May we share with others your living gifts

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth 

May we be your instruments of that peace
