Evening Prayer – 16 March 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Tonight I am thankful, Lord

For impromptu family reunions

For time spent with Alec

For laughter

For love

For the journey we share together

Now, as we prepare for sleep

As we watch the Vesper Lights softly glow

Grant Us a peaceful night

May we be refreshed for the morrow

And, as we lift this humble prayer

Lord, hear us

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
