The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

For rest, quiet, and refreshment

We give you thanks

For light in the darkness

We give you thanks

For your presence in our midst

We give you thanks 

For hope in the midst of struggle

We give you thanks

For your peace which passes all understanding 

We give you thanks, O Lord

To you, O Lord, we lift this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
