The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Lord, for very dear friends and colleagues

For the opportunity to serve with these sisters and brothers

For the opportunity to share your light and love

I give you thanks

Even in times of darkness and despair 

Even when mistrust and deception seem to rule

Your love, O Lord, overcomes and shines

Help us to serve you and your children

Help us to be your light shining in the darkness

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth
