Evening Prayer – 13 February 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A simple prayer for this night

A prayer for all of God’s creation 

A prayer that swords would be beaten into plowshares

A prayer that spears would be beaten into pruning hooks

A prayer that we would see the divine spark in each other

A prayer that hatred would be vanquished by love

Lord in your mercy, hear my prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
