Evening Prayer – 31 January 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

On the eve of  St Brigid’s day we seek the light

The light that shines in the darkness

The light that darkness cannot overcome

The light that darkness cannot comprehend

May we be inspired by her love of all God’s creatures

May that love break down barriers

May that love bring hope and life and peace

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
