Evening Prayer – 30 January 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

As Brigid’s day draws closer

May the light of Christ which she shared

Shine brightly in her native land and around the world

The light which casts out darkness

The light which casts out fear

The light which illuminates hope

The light which illuminates peace

Let your light shine, O Lord, as we lift this prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
