Evening Prayer – 27 January 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A day of fellowship and preparation 

Gathering with dear friends to make a difference

An opportunity to help those who help the community 

Laughter, love, fellowship, service

Time as well to reflect on a course on Discernment 

A time spent with you, Lord, in prayer

Tonight, celebrating community and fellowship

Tonight your children gathered around the table

Laughter and conversation as strangers became friends

Now, Lord, as the firelight flickers

I give thanks for the opportunity to serve

Finally, Lord, I lift up my humble prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
