Evening Prayer – 21 January 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Another day under the weather

Connecting with dear sisters and brothers 

Prayed for those who were marching

Praying for those in power

Lord, where has civility gone?

Lord, when did hatred, misogyny, and greed become so accepted?

Teach us, O Lord, to serve you without counting the cost

Teach us, O Lord, to be a voice for the voiceless

Teach us, O Lord, to do Your Justice

Teach us, O Lord, to be Your kindness/mercy

Teach us, O Lord, to walk humbly with You

Make us instruments of your peace 

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
