Evening Prayer – 10 January 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

A long day of ministry has ended

Working with people who truly do want to make a difference in our community

Walking with those who want to share the light of Christ’s love in a world of darkness

Lord, what a privilege it is to serve you here in this place

Lord, I also lift up those who are walking through the valley of the shadows

The shadows of death, illness, suffering, and pain

May we share your light with them

May we walk with them as sisters and brothers

May you guide our steps and strengthen us as we serve

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra

Grant Us Peace on Earth
