Evening Prayer – 3 January 2017

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

On this third day of the New Year

Time spent in fellowship with dear friends

Snowshoeing in the wonder of God’s creation

Communing with our four legged friends

For the time of rest and refreshment

For the time spent in wonder and awe

We give you thanks, O Lord

Yet while we enjoyed a time of relaxation

We considered those who suffer and are in need

For those recovering from major accidents

For those who find themselves on difficult pathways

For those who are searching for hope

Lord, for these and so many more, we pray

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
