The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

After an incredibly long day of driving

To spend the evening with dear friends who are family

To share laughter and stories

To share love and hope for the future 

What a blessing you have given us, O Lord

As 2016 continues to wind down to a close

May we lift our prayers for your creation

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

A prayer for all of your children

A prayer for the world you created and called good

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
