The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A day of preparation

A day of prayer

A time of celebration with a wonderful couple

Fifty years together, what a blessing

As the sun sets we draw one day closer

Remembering the night of the Savior’s birth

You came, Lord, in a time of great darkness 

Even in that darkness, your light shone

May your light shine in this darkness 

Your love reflects in the eyes of the Anniversary couple

Your love reflects in dear ones near and far

May your light and your love shine brightly

Lord, with hope-filled hearts, we lift this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
