Evening Prayer – 20 December 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

As Christmas approaches

As the days grow shorter

As the hurry and scurry overwhelms

Lord, may we pause this night

Pause to consider your grace, mercy, and peace 

May we pause to pray for those in need of your healing

May we pause to pray for those in need of your light

May we pause to pray that we might be your light and love in a world of darkness and fear

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
