Evening Prayer – 15 December 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

As the wind howls, we give thanks

For shelter, for warmth, for the comforts of home

The wind also reminds us that there are many who aren’t so fortunate 

For those who daily worry about shelter

For those who daily worry about violence

For those who daily live in darkness 

Lord, for all of your children, we lift this prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
