Evening Prayer – 29 November 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

After a long day of phone conferences and appointments

In the evening we celebrate hope and diversity with our local community

Conversation Cafe where bridges are built 

Gathered together to teach, love, and inspire

In the midst of God’s diverse creation

We find and celebrate our common unity

Sisters and Brothers bound together

A common desire to work together towards a peaceful world 

Even in the midst of darkness and struggle

The light of hope and peace shines

Lord, thank you for this reminder

A reminder of the marriage of diversity and unity

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth 

A wee prayer from the heart of your sleepy Padre…
