Evening Prayer – 23 November 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A day of rest and preparation

An evening of love and reunions

Thankful for Alec’s safe travels today

Thankful for time spent together

Thankful as well for our other sons, Chase and Christopher 

Present in our hearts this and every day

Thankful for all of God’s many blessings 

As we retire for the night

We lift this humble and heartfelt prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
