Evening Prayer – 22 November 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

As the day draws to a close

Lord, we remember

Glimpses of your presence in our midst

Evidence of your love surrounding us

Help us, Lord, to always sense your nearness

When shadows fall, may your light shine through 

When sorrow overwhelms, may your healing balm flow over us

When doubts assail, may your reassurance shine forth

When fear threatens, may your hope overpower that fear

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer

For your children

For your creation

Dona Nobis Pacem et in Terra 

Grant Us Peace on Earth
