Evening Prayer – 19 November 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Another day of busyness and ministry

Much to contemplate as well, O Lord

Going through picture and treasures

So many memories rekindled

Thinking of my folks as they adjust

Adjust to a new home and surroundings

Thankful for those who care for them

Thankful for friends who walk with them

Thankful for our own home and community

Thankful for your call to both of us to serve you

Lord, there are so many to lift up to you

So many people and so many prayers

For healing, for comfort, for guidance

For inspiration, for forgiveness, for renewal

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer

A prayer for our community, nation and world

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
