The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

As we settle in for the night

Good Lord, hear our prayer

Circle us, Lord

Keep hope within

Keep despair without

Circle us, Lord

Surround us with your Grace 

Dispel the gloom of violence and hatred

For a nation and world hell-bent on destruction

For your creation which careens into chaos

Lord, in your healing mercy, hear our prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
