Evening Prayer – All Souls Day – 2 November 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

On this All Souls Day I remember and honor

All those who have gone before me

Those who have been a part of my life

There are so many to name and honor

The most recent was a coach, teacher, and mentor

Coach Haddorff, thank you for your witness

My grandparents & great aunt

Those I have served with in uniform

On this day we light a candle

A light that shines in the darkness

As we light that candle, we remember and pray

For those who have gone on before us

For those who walk this earth still

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
