Evening Prayer – 28 October 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A long day of sorting and packing

Exhausted we are as we light the lights

Weary we are as we look into the face of dementia

Hopeful we are as we see your presence, O Lord

To you, this night, I lift this simple prayer

For family and for friends

For dear ones near and far

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
