Evening Prayer – 26 October 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

An exhausting day of packing and sorting

Walking and praying with my parents

Moving out of the house they lived in for 49 years

An amazing amount of work done before we arrived

Thankful for dear friends who walk with them as well

Lord, I pray your covering, comfort, and care

May you strengthen and sustain them

May they know your peace in the midst of the stress

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
