Evening Prayer – 25 October 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A time of Sabbath and learning

Followed by a time with family

A day of travel and time with my parents

Moving is an exhausting thing

When you have lived nearly 50 years in a home 

A place of hopes and dreams; a forever home

Settling into a new place doesn’t happen overnight

Thankful for dear friends

Who have walked this journey with my parents

A very personal prayer this night

For my very dear parents…

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us (them) Peace
