The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

On this Sabbath eve at Montreat

Our prayers have been completed

A restful evening is before us

Learning how to be still in the midst of life

We gather with new friends and old

To learn, to share, to grow

As you blessed your creation and called it good, O Lord

Bless this time we share together

May your Spirit move freely in our midst

Transform our time (Chronos) to your time (Kairos), Lord

This and every night we lift up our prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
