Evening Prayer – 20 October 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A long day of travel by plane and by car

Yet we are in such a wonderful Thin Place

A spiritual home for us both

A place where the Holy Spirit freely blows where she will

Montreat, a place of renewal and challenge

A class on Practicing Sabbath

May the Spirit cleanse and renew this weary Padre

Lord, in your mercy, hear this prayer 

A prayer for our church, nation, and world

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
