Evening Prayer – 14 October 2016
The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow
An exhausted Padre is ready to sleep
On this night, like every night
I lift up a prayer of hope and longing
For a nation and world so divided and hate-filled
Dona Nobis Pacem
Grant Us Peace
A wee prayer from the heart of your exhausted Padre…
