Evening Prayer – 4 October 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

On this day three years ago in Philladelphia we remembered St Francis of Assisi 

Spending a retreat with our dear Brother Donald Columba

Today we remember Brother Don’s life and love and spirit

May he rest in peace

The evening was spent on a walk in God’s creation

Brother bear, his sibling, and mother were in town

A gentle gift of grace and a reminder

We are all one in God’s creation

We are all bound together by the love of our Creator

On this day, O Lord

Bind us together in your love

We lift up this humble prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
