Evening Prayer – 29 September 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

These girls found some time to be still and know

Spending time with God’s creation

Is always a reminder of blessings beyond compare

Today I walked with a family through medical uncertainty 

Today I saw the fragile nature of life

Today I also saw the incredible strength of faith

Faith in the midst of uncertainty 

Faith in the midst of the struggles 

Faith in the midst of the darkness 

Lord, I lift these dear ones to you

As I raise this simple prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
