Evening Prayer – 26 September 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

My sweet wife and I had time with very dear friends who are family

We shared a picnic lunch in Rocky at Sprague Lake

Then it was Communion with our beloved family at Good Samaritan Village

Work, Prayer, Fellowship, Service

You call us, Lord to be

Your eyes, hands, heart, voice, eyes, body

You call us to be a light in the darkness

You call us to be love in the midst of hate

You call us to be transformation in the midst of fear

Lord, tonight, my spirit is overwhelmed

The ache and cry from deep within my heart

This ache and cry I lift up to you

From the bottom of my weary soul

I lift this prayer to you

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace 

A wee prayer from the heart of your Padre as he prays for this nation and world… Lord, deliver us from narcissism, hatred, bigotry, and fear… Grant us your Peace!
