Evening Prayer- 19 September 2016

The Sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Pondering the weekend just past

Thankful for the Spirit’s movement in hearts and lives

A day of healing and recovery

An evening of meetings and God’s work

In between all that, an opportunity to be still and know

These Elk reminded us of Psalm 42:1

As the Elk panteth for the waters

So my soul longeth after Thee

Our souls do indeed long for you, O Lord

Our souls long for your grace, mercy, and peace 

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
