Evening Prayer – 11 September 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A full day of worship 

Gathering around the Table of the Lord

We were called to remember

Praying for ourselves, the nation, the world

We were called to remember

Remember Christ’s call to love

Remember the call of Micah & Isaiah

“…they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more…” (Micah 4:3 & Isaiah 2:4)

Lord, help us to remember

Lord, help us to love

Lord, help us to live

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
