Evening Prayer – 15 August 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker 

A full day of meetings, fellowship, & study

I come to you with a full heart, O Lord

With a thankful heart for the church you have called me to serve

With a thankful heart for wonderful co-workers

With a thankful heart for our Ruling Elders & Deacons

With a thankful heart for this beautiful place we live

My heart overflows

Yet I am mindful of those who struggle with health concerns

Mindful of those who live in the midst of war and violence here and around the world 

Mindful of those who are victims of hate

Mindful of those who are reeling after the destructive floods in Louisiana

With a full heart I lift this prayer to you, Lord

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
