Evening Prayer – 12 August 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker 

Another day in this beautiful place we call home

Watching the majestic eagle soar

Reminding me of Isaiah 40:31

“but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength; they will fly up on wings like eagles; they will run and not be tired; they will walk and not be weary.”

‭‭Lord, even when we are weary

You lift us up and strengthen us

Lift up all who need your strength, O Lord

Renew all those who are faltering, O Lord

In all things and all places, lift us up

Lift us up so that we can better serve you

That we can better love you

That we can better love every neighbor

That we can share your peace with others

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
