Evening Prayer – 11 August 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker 

Another day spent hiking in Rocky

Surrounded by God’s majesty

The beauty of God’s creation

The little chipmunk so trusting of us

Sitting literally at our feet

Reminded me of how we sit at God’s feet

With tender love and care, God gazes upon us

Shelter us, Lord

Keep danger without 

Circle us, Lord

Surround us with your love

Shelter us, Lord

Keep fear without

Circle us, Lord

Enfold us in your peace

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
