The sun has set 

The Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

Contemplating the day closing

Contemplating a world in need

Asking, O Lord, for your blessing

Asking, O Lord, for your protection 

Asking, O Lord, for your guidance

Circle us, Lord, with your presence

Keep love within and fear without

Circle us, Lord, with your serenity 

Keep calm within and panic without

Circle us, Lord, with your grace

Keep acceptance within and hatred without

Circle us, Lord, with your peace

Keep unity within and division without

Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer 

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
