Evening Prayer – 9 July 2016

The Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

After a full day of meetings and fellowship

Still pondering who is our neighbor

Praying for those who are in danger

For those who have lost their homes

A wildfire in Colorado caused by a careless campfire

Neighbors and first responders rally

Proving that neighbors can work together

A reminder needed after all the violence this week

Lord, help us to see all of your creation

As neighbors to care for, love, & support

And may our prayers lead to action

May our prayer become the world’s reality

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
