The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker

Thinking about all of the pain in the world

Thinking of those threatened by wildfires

Thinking of those who live in fear

Thinking of victims of hatred

Thinking of those who mourn

Remembering your love and presence

Even in the midst of suffering

Circle us, Lord

Keep your love close to your children

Surround them with your healing presence

Lord, in your mercy, hear our humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
