The sun has set on the longest day

The Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

The Summer Solstice is upon us

Tonight the Strawberry Moon is hiding

Hidden behind the clouds

The smoke from West Coast fires make a haze

The smoke reminds us that there are people in dire need

Of Safety, Protection, Hope…

On this night, I lift up my Evening Prayer

For those in need

For those who struggle

For those who are alone

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
