The sun has long since set

The Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A full day of meetings, driving, and fellowship

A sleepy Padre lifts up this simple prayer

For those who need your calm, Lord

Circle us, Lord

Keep peace within

Keep keep chaos without

For those who need your loving care

Keep healing within

Keep harm without

For all of your children, Lord

I lift this humble prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
