Evening Prayer – 28 May 2016

The sun has long ago set

A wedding has been celebrated

The happy couple begins life together 

A dear colleague and friend has been laid to rest

Fellowship around the table

Stories told with laughter and tears

As we looked to the mountains

A rainbow crossed the sky

Earlier, the beautiful clouds and sky

A reminder of Your constant presence, O Lord

Be with the families and loved ones this night

As a new marriage begins

As memories come to heart and mind

I lift this prayer for all of your children
