As the Vesper Lights flicker and glow

I lift my humble prayer to you, O Lord

For a world where hatred and fear consume

For a world where bigotry flourishes

For your creation whose actions must surely make you weep

For these things

For all of your children

For all of your creation

Lord, I lift my humble prayer
