Evening Prayer – 12 May 2016

The sun has set and the Vesper Lights flicker 

As I reflect on the day that is done

I think of a family who laid a loved one to rest

Blessed are those who mourn

For they shall be comforted 

I think of young families in our community

Families who enjoy fellowship

Families who need our support and love

May your grace and peace surround them

Once again, this weary Padre gives thanks

For the opportunity to serve in this place

As this Evening Prayer lifts to you, O God

Hear the prayer of this weary Padre 

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
