Evening Prayer – 8 May 2016

As the Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

I reflect upon a full day of ministry and worship

Thankful for the reminders of God’s grace

Thankful for the cleansing power of God’s love

Thankful for moments when the Christ light glows in another

Thankful for a call to love and to serve

Lord, your humble servant looks to you

Circle me this night with your Spirit

Bring deep and peaceful sleep

Bring your peace to all of your children

Lord, in your mercy, hear my prayer

My prayer for all of your creation

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
