Evening Prayer – 2 May 2016

Our friend and houseguest from England arrived 

Sleep and jet lag have overcome her

Yet all is well, safely to rest

The Vesper Lights flicker and glow

As I lift this simple prayer

For Jo and for all who are weary from travel

For those who are simply weary from life

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
