Memories of May Day from my youth

May baskets and flowers and Minnesota snow!

May Day at Oxford University in England

Where choristers greet the dawn with song

Lighting the Beltane fires to greet Spring

Crowning Mary, the Queen of our hearts

The Vesper Lights flicker and glow 

A puppy dog is happy to be home

And so I lift my Evening Prayer to you, O Lord

As Spring offers hope of renewal

So your Spirit renews and refreshes our souls

With this renewal, I lift this humble prayer 

For all of your children, O Lord

Dona Nobis Pacem 

Grant Us Peace
