The Vesper Lights flicker and glow

As our Evening Prayers lift to you

After a wonderful reunion with Church family

After a day spent with family

My heart looks to the road that brought me here

The way has not always been straight

The way has at times been difficult

Yet through it all, Lord, you guide

Through it all, Lord, you sustain

For the times you gently led

For the times you patiently waited

For the times you gently nudged

For the times you forgave and renewed

I give you thanks, O Lord

For family, friends, and fellow travelers

I lift this heartfelt prayer

Dona Nobis Pacem

Grant Us Peace
